week 3 - 1

where and when?

this statement extends to both the reality we live in as well as the one that takes place in our film. As I said before, the film is based here in Weston revolving around the teenage members of the groups. in filming the backstage and practice settings we're using our group member's home. In Mattias's home we will be able to capture the best aesthetic that will surely make up the vibe we're looking for, thanks to his parent's taste in decor. 

If we do decide to incorporate an outdoor setting, most likely we'd be looking for Markham Park or vista View. Markham is well known for being incorporated in many projects and its a common ground for photo shoots and media creations. It's so easily accessible and its very nice, its the perfect setting for what we're looking for.

week 6(final)

With the actual film opening wrapped up, all that is left is the CCR. At this point it  is not complete, but it  will be soon enough. The last thing we have to do as a group is take clips from what we filmed and incorporate it in either a voice over or a power point. personally a power point would be easier, but that would require like actually presenting and its a lot more tedious. A voice over could be cool, I've always liked these features that many directors such as Spielberg and George Lucas have included in their films. It's really just there if you want it and more than enough it's the film lovers who really do. My guess is that we'll most likely just end up doing that, since we'd want that authentic film feel.

week 5(3)

To finish this weeks entries, we spent some time finalizing our work. we cleared up some issues we had regarding the recordings, so we made sure to clear those up. We had to film again part of the first scene due to the microphone being turned off (Homero's fault) but in the end it  was a slight blessing because we came out with something better. Now our next step is to come up with a creative way to introduce the credits, we want to do something sort of product placement style, by sneaking our names in the background in a clear way for it  to be recognizable. (Harder than it sounds!)

week 6

On our 6th and final week we faced some ups and downs. Ups being that we're finally wrapping up our project and we won't have to worry about this anymore. also that our end result is coming along quite nicely and we feel confident in our film opening. The downside is all the stress that came to actually completing this project due to complications. These complications include scheduling problems because more than often one or more of us could not seem to find the time to meet and work. but we finally got that sorted out. We were able to creatively piece together our opening and end credits and we felt like we did a great job. Once its presented everyone will know what I mean.
